Moorebank Avenue Upgrade

The Moorebank Intermodal Terminal (MIT) is a landmark freight infrastructure project located in Moorebank, south-west Sydney. Covering approximately 240 hectares, it stands as Australia’s largest intermodal logistics precinct, purpose-built to improve national freight efficiency, reduce road congestion, and promote sustainable transport solutions.

Certus Projects was engaged by BMD to deliver the design and construction of a noise wall within the Moorebank Logistics Park, a key component of the broader Moorebank Logistics Precinct situated about 32 km from Sydney’s CBD. This infrastructure upgrade supports improved traffic flow, enhanced safety, and better connectivity for both local residents and businesses, while also contributing to the overall development of this critical freight and logistics hub.

Key Features:

  • 5m by 140m noise wall construction.

  • Ground works varied in levels substantially adding complexities to construction.

  • Materials such as galvanised steel and precast concrete panels, fabricated offsite and then installed to ensure efficiency in delivery.
